Announcing Bamboo KPI and Visual Indicator Columns for SharePoint 2013

Add two more to the growing tally of recent Bamboo releases for SharePoint 2013. This time around, it’s the first two of Bamboo’s Custom Columns that are making the leap to 2013. More are on the way soon, but for now, you can enjoy some graphical goodness in the form of Bamboo’s KPI Column and Visual Indicator Column for SharePoint 2013.

Bamboo Visual Indicator Column:

With the Bamboo Visual Indicator Column, you can liven up your SharePoint lists with a little color. Basically two columns rolled into one, Bamboo Visual Indicator lets you reference other columns containing a percentage and display a graphical representation of the % complete -OR- it will let you reference a Choice or Lookup column in SharePoint and display configurable color codes based on the value in that column.

Bamboo KPI Column:

With the Bamboo KPI Column, you can define a key performance indicator (KPI) for a column, along with desired value ranges for “good,” “at risk,” and “warning.” and display a green, yellow, or red icon accordingly.

The Bamboo KPI Column also comes with a special Web Part for displaying a KPI dashboard within a page if you don’t just want it in a list.
