Here in part three, we’ll show you how to use the Print Feature in Data-Viewer Web Part.
To help celebrate the release of Data-Viewer Web Part version 3.6, we have put together a brand-new 8-part series that will walk you through how to use the product’s newest and most popular features. Let us show you how to use the Print Feature in Data-Viewer Web Part.
To begin, go to the tool pane. In the Column Display Settings dialog box, select the columns which you would like to see displayed on and printed from the Web Part. In this example, we have chosen to display the following three columns: Product Name (i.e., Title), Profits (i.e., Currency), and Released Date (i.e., Date):
Return to your Home Site. You will now see the data for the three columns which you selected above displayed in Data-Viewer Web Part:
Next, return to the tool pane. Under General Settings, select the Enable Print Current Page checkbox:
Return to your Home Site. You will now see the Print Current Page button displayed atop the data for the three columns you selected displayed in Data-Viewer Web Part:
Click on the Print Current Page button. When prompted, select the Printer to which you will be printing your data:
