Data-Viewer Web Part 3.6 User’s Guide, Part 1: How to Configure the Column Display Settings

Here in part one, we’ll show you how to configure the Column Display Settings.

For version 3.6, we’ve made some beneficial changes to the Column Display Settings that will help you maximize the ways in which you view your data. These updates include:

Justification

You can now indicate whether you want your data Right or Left justified:

Column Width

By selecting the Set Custom Column Width checkbox, you are able to customize your Column Width. Simply enter your desired width (in pixels) in the respective column:

Additionally, you can resize columns by selecting the Allow columns to be resized checkbox in Data-Viewer Web Part Settings:

To resize columns manually, simply grab the edge of the column and, similar to columns in Microsoft Excel, drag the column to your desired width:

Column Position

You are now able to indicate where you would like each of your columns to be positioned in Data-Viewer Web Part

Column Alias

Further, customize your columns by renaming them with a label of your choosing:
