Also, see the patch update for Bamboo Knowledge Base was released at the same time.  For more information about the new releases of this week, please see below.

HW77 Quick Add for SharePoint 2010 Release 1.0.29

Initial Release

Features:

• Quickly create any number of items in a list at once by simply typing or copying values into a text field.
• Entered values automatically map to required fields when the items are created.
• An unlimited number of items can be created at once, or a maximum number of items can be defined.
• Works with most list types, including Task Lists, Announcement Lists, Calendars, Contact Lists, Discussion Boards, Custom Lists, and more.

Known Issues:

• When using IE8, an unnecessary horizontal scrollbar may appear in some confirmation windows.
• When using the Web Part to add items to a different site collection, security validation can cause the creation to fail.
This can be fixed by going to Central Administration>Application Management, selecting a Web Application where the Quick Add Web Part is deployed, then going to General Settings, and changing security validation to “Off” in the ribbon.
• Only one instance of the Quick Add Web Part can currently be used on a single page.

Limitations:

• None
