This Week in Bamboo (June 28th, 2015 – July 4th, 2015)

For Bamboo this week, we resolved many bugs and released a minor release for Data-Viewer Web Part for SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint 2013 along with patches for the following: List Rotator Web Part, World Clock & Weather Web Part, and List Search Simple & Advanced Pack.  For more info about this week’s release, please see below.

HW37 Data-Viewer Web Part for SharePoint 2010 Release 3.7.37 (File version 30.7.37)

Bug Fixes:

• Could not conditionally format on a Person or Group column.
• No option to reset multiple dynamic filters with one click.
• A Data View Web part displaying List Rollup data could not sort People or Group columns.
• Column alias did not apply to the group heading.
• No support to hide the header row.
• When using SQL as the data source a column could not be resized if the column title contained multiple words.
• Web Part did not support a ‘blank’ runtime filter on the page until a filter criterion is selected.
• The Web Part showed an error when filtering the Date Time column with ” [Today] – x”.
• When configured to use a SharePoint list data source with the “Show all items without folders” option checked, users would receive an error when editing in datasheet mode.
• <Div> tags were displayed in the inline edit mode of Data Viewer on Project Management Central sites.
• After adding a new column to a list or rollup the new column was not automatically available in “Column Display Settings”.
• A scrollbar appeared when Nested List data was displayed when the “Set Custom Column Width” option is checked even if the number of columns in the Nested List was smaller than the number of columns displayed in the Parent List.
• Conditional Formatting for text fields of the Master/Nested List is reset after the Column Display Settings pop-up screen is displayed following the initial configuration.
• Support calculations on numeric columns for nested list items.
• When “Use list or library view” is the filter for a SharePoint list or library, users can switch between list views at runtime.
• Added option “Edit default fields” in General Settings to always include default display fields in the inline and datasheet edit modes.
• After configuring the Web Part, if the user accesses the Column Display Settings pop-up screen, the nested list, calculated, and conditional formatting options had to be reset.
• Resizing columns in the runtime mode for Nested Grid View caused display issues.
• Multiple Lines of Text column types, Rich Text, and Enhanced Rich Text, displayed HTML tags.

Bug Fixes:

• Web Part showed an error when configured to display List Rollup data with a default grouping Due Date.
• There was a script conflict when using Data-Viewer 2013 web part and customer’s customized SharePoint 2013 theme.

• When using SQL as the data source a column could not be resized if the column title contained multiple words.
• Header color would change when the height and width were specified.
• Web Part did not support a ‘blank’ runtime filter on the page until a filter criterion was selected.
• <Div> tags were displayed in the inline edit mode of Data Viewer on Project Management Central sites.

• The Web Part showed an error when filtering the Date Time column with ” [Today] – x”.

• Conditional Formatting for text fields of the Master/Nested List is reset after the Column Display Settings pop-up screen is displayed following the initial configuration.
• When “Use list or library view” is the filter for a SharePoint list or library, users can switch between list views at runtime.
• Added option “Edit default fields” in General Settings to always include default display fields in the inline and datasheet edit modes
• When using dynamic sorting in a group, “Calculating Header” and “Calculating Footer” show in the wrong position, e.g. Calculating Footer is at the top and Calculating Header is at the bottom.
• When using dynamic grouping, calculating results such as “maximum =” are both showing at the top instead of showing one at the top of the grid and one at the bottom of the grid.
• The configuration of the Nested list in the Conditional Formatting section is not applied when changing the column display setting.
• When the skin Web20 was used and the Web Part was connected to any data source with nested data, expanding and collapsing a nested data set caused an extra line to appear.
