HW63 Cross-Site Display Web Part for SharePoint 2013 Release 1.2.40.2013
Initial Release on Microsoft SharePoint Foundation 2013 and Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013.
- This build runs on SharePoint Foundation 2013 and SharePoint Server 2013.
- This release contains the same functionality as the equivalent version number of the SharePoint 2010 build of this product.
See the Known Issues and Limitations section for the latest known issues and limitations related to this release. For information about using this product, read the Online Documentation.
Known Issues:
• If the Cross-Site Display Web Part is configured to display a list or library from a different site collection, switching to a Gantt View will display the message: “Cross-Site Display Web Part currently does not support Gantt View for lists on a different Site Collection. Please select a different list view.”
• Anonymous users may see the error page when attempting to view certain items that they do not have access to instead of the error message “Access Denied”.
• Clicking on the Picture Library folder too many times results in a JavaScript error.
• When clicking on the checkbox “Mark Task Complete” where the task item is from another site, the change is not saved.
• Cannot access the site with the SharePoint 2010 look and feel when using the list from the SharePoint 2013 site to display the SharePoint 2010 look and feel site.
• Users with read-only access to the SharePoint list see the full Edit context menu but will see an error message when selecting a menu option.
• If the Cross-Site Display Web Part is configured to display a list from an anonymous access site using a custom login account, clicking View Properties in the Edit Menu displays an error message for items that have item-level permissions. Click the item link to view the item instead.
• After deleting an item from the Cross-Site Display Web Part, the Web Part display refreshes with the default list view instead of the view previously selected.
• If a Calendar list from the current site is displayed in the Web Part, clicking the Add option in the Calendar grid will display the error message “List does not exist.” Use the New button in the toolbar to add new items instead.
• Decimal digits do not display in Currency Columns when the source list is from a site with different regional settings than the Cross-Site Display Web Part site.
Limitations:
- Cross-Site Display Web Part does not support folders displayed within the List View Web Part on the same page as itself. If the user opens a folder in List View Web Part, the full toolbar of the Cross-Site Display Web Part will be disabled.
- Users may encounter a script error when trying to close an item pop-up form after viewing an item attachment in some list types.
- When entering a Custom Login Account in the Web Part Settings and no match is found, the “closest matches” feature of “People Picker” does not work.
- If a Picture Library source list from another site in the same site collection is displayed in a Cross-Site Display Web Part, the item upload page is not a pop-up window.
- The Manage Permission and Compliance Details items are not available in the item Edit Menu when a list is displayed in the Cross-Site Display Web Part.
- To display date/time columns for recurring Calendar events correctly, the regional settings for the Cross-Site Display Web Part site must match the regional settings for the source list site.
- The Delete action is not supported for Picture Libraries.
- After modifying a list view from the Action menu in the Cross-Site Display Web Part, the user is returned to the source list instead of the Web Part page.
- The following Bamboo Products are not supported in the Cross-Site Display Web Part:
