This Week in Bamboo (July 27th, 2014 – August 2nd, 2014)

At Bamboo this week, the following patches were released to the storefront: Cross-Site Display Web Part, List Bulk Import, SharePoint Navigators, and List Rollup Web Part. For more details about the list of patches and bug fixes, please see below.

HW63 Cross-Site Display Web Part for SharePoint 2010 Release 1.2.39

Bug Fixes:

  • When using the Web Part, opening the context menu of a folder in a document library, then clicking away from the context menu, then clicking on the folder again results in an error message being displayed.
  • Using the Send to E-mail link for an item in the Context menu may fail when the item belongs to a folder.
  • Within the Web Part, click to view a list item from a list that contains the Bamboo Rating column results in a JavaScript error.

New Known Issues:

  • After clicking on a folder, a pop-up is opened then and no column header is shown on the pop-up like viewing on the SharePoint source list.

New Limitations:

  • None

HW18 List Bulk Import for SharePoint 2007, SharePoint 2010, and SharePoint 2013 Release 3.0.64.2013

Bug Fixes:

  • Mapping data from a source column in Excel to a managed metadata column in a SharePoint list results in an error.
  • Mapping a multi-user or multi-people lookup column from SharePoint 2010 or 2013 to a multi-people target column in SharePoint 2013 results in a failed import.
  • A line break in a source list item is replaced with two blank spaces in the target list (e.g. Source column data is “Line 1<br>Line 2”, the target column data translates to “Line 1  Line 2”).

No New Known Issues or New Limitations.

HW55 SharePoint Navigators for SharePoint 2013 Release 1.5.75.2013

Bug Fixes:

  • When creating submenus, if the Menu Title matches the Parent Menu lookup title, a 500 Internal Server Error is displayed when accessing the link.

No New Known Issues or New Limitations.

HW24 List Rollup Web Part for SharePoint 2010 Release 6.0.100

Bug Fixes:

  • After modifying the French.xml file, the Schema Rollup Web Part fails when creating data.

No New Known Issues or New Limitations.
