Microsoft announced earlier today that registration has opened for this year’s Big Show, the Microsoft SharePoint Conference 2011.  The last Microsoft SharePoint Conference took place in Las Vegas back in October of 2009 sold out, drawing more  than 8,000 attendees, and was unquestionably the SharePoint event of the year.  Since it took place in Vegas, the last SharePoint Conference essentially took place in a great American theme park, whereas the 2011 offering in Anaheim will take place in the virtual shadow of another great American theme park, Disneyland.
