Yesterday, Bamboo presented the second webinar in its Best Practices series which focuses on SharePoint-based project management and how technology can be leveraged to effectively automate and administer key project management functions. The webinar, led by Julie Auletta, Director of Bamboo’s Solutions Center, and Rob Manfredi, Business Analyst, and Partner at SharePointXperts, centered on the topic of resource management and included a discussion of what is resource management, the different types of resource management, and how to level resources.
After an examination of human resource deployment and how to successfully manage resource allocation, the webinar launched into a discussion of resource leveling and common processes and techniques that can be used to successfully manage your resource allocations. Specifically, Julie provided a demonstration of Bamboo’s popular Project Management Central (PM Central) application, and the various resource management features that it offers.
