Surprisingly,
just as the weatherman predicted, we finally saw some snow fall here in the
D.C. area after what had seemed like a never-ending snow drought last winter. However,
thanks to the weatherman who “always cried snow,” we were unprepared to face
the wintry mix that headed our way last week. Missing bare essentials such as a
beenie to shelter us from the shiver-inducing temperatures, we were freezing
