This week in Bamboo, a minor release of Password Change Web Part Release 4.1 for SharePoint 2010 was released to the storefront along with some patches. For a complete list of this week’s releases, new features, new known issue and bugs fixed please see below.
HW06 Password Change Web Part for SharePoint 2010 (4.1.65)
New:
• Support for User Principal Name (UPN) format (username@domain.com) instead of pre-Windows 2000 format (domainaccount).
• Provide a new option in the tool pane: 2-Box Format or Single Box Format to support UPN.
Bug Fixes:
• Web Part does not color the Password Strength Meter on sites with Publishing Portal feature enabled.
No new Known Issues and Limitations.
HW31 Virtual Map View Web Part for SharePoint 2007 (1.9.34) and SharePoint 2010 (1.9.46)
Bug Fixes:
• When selecting a marker on the map for more information, incorrect information is displayed to the user.
• Hyperlinks in the marker’s information box are displayed as text, not hyperlinks.
• Incorrect information is displayed on the map when the four address settings (Address/ City/ State/ Country) are not configured in the tool part.
No new Known Issues and Limitations.
HW60 File Share Library for SharePoint 2010 (2.0.60)
Bug Fixes:
• If the feature “Bamboo File Share Library Large Files Feature” is enabled, if a user attempts to upload files of 500MB or greater, nothing will happen and the file does not upload. Note: The Internet Explorer Cache (Temporary Internet Files) must be deleted for changes to take affect after upgrade.
No new Known Issues and Limitations.
HW69 Video Library for SharePoint 2010 (2.0.83)
Bug Fixes:
• When a user sends a link to another user using the “E-mail a Link” option from the item’s context menu, the video fails to play.
• In certain cases, when a user attempts to save the Video Library Advanced Settings, the user receives a “Bamboo Error” message. Note: The Internet Explorer Cache (Temporary Internet Files) must be deleted for changes to take affect after upgrade.
Known Issues:
• If File Share Library version 20.0.57 or earlier is installed on the same SharePoint deployment, the option “E-mail a Link” fails to work.
