For this week, we rolled out to our storefront a new set of SharePoint 2016 products as follows: Task Master, Alerts Administrator, and Navigators Web Part. Patch for Team Calendar Web Part was also released to the store at the same time. Please see below for more details about the new releases and patches of the week.

HW45 Task Master for SharePoint 206 Release 4.0.14.2016 (File version 40.0.14.2016)

Initial Release on Microsoft SharePoint Server 2016

• This build runs on SharePoint Server 2016. This release of TaskMaster provides the same functionality as the equivalent version number of the SharePoint 2013 build of this product.
• See the Known Issues and Limitations section for the latest known issues and limitations related to this release. For information about using this product, read the Online Documentation.

Known Issues:

• Installer occasionally fails to run the Upgrade/Repair option, displaying the following error message: “The solution does not have a WSP file associated with it.” Workaround: Reset the IIS/SharePoint Timer service, then use the Remove All option and install it again.
• During installation, the Web Part file will occasionally fail to deploy. Workaround: Reset the IIS/SharePoint Timer service, then use the Remove All option and install it again.
• The Site Theme option is automatically enabled when two Bamboo Task Master Web Parts are added to the page.
• The Print function was removed.
• The associated Send Message Web Part and the send message functionality are not included in Bamboo Task Master.

Limitations: 

• Don’t show the value of the Assignment Unit when clicking on a View item.
