This week in Bamboo, a minor release for Custom Identifier Column Release 1.1 was released to the storefront along with patches for World Clock & Weather, and User Profile Sync. Please see below for more info about this week’s releases.
HW41H Custom Identifier Column for SharePoint 2010 Release 1.1.17 (File version 10.1.17)
New Features:
- Include values from more than one column in the identifier (when configuring the “Include Column from Current Item” list box and “Order of Selected Variables” list box).
- Allow users to specify the starting number for the identifier numerical counter.
Limitations:
- The custom identifier value is not populated if a file is added using New Document through Document Libraries.
- The Custom Identifier Column cannot be modified within the Document Information Panel in Microsoft Office files.
- If a Document Library includes a column of type Custom Identifier Column, upon uploading a file, the file is left in Checkout mode and the user must manually check the file in.

- When including column values in the format of the identifier, only these column types are supported: Single text, Choice (drop-down and radio), Multi text (multi-line, but not rich text), Number, Currency, Date time, and Lookup (not Multi-value Lookup).

- When a customer upgrades from version 1.0.41 to version 1.0.43, they will receive a JavaScript error when creating or modifying a column of type Bamboo Custom Identifier. To resolve this, the Internet Explorer Cache (Temporary Internet Files) must be deleted on the client machine.

After I installed the update to R3 for SP 2010, I do not have the option under advanced to add in any weather feeds. Does anyone have any idea why these options are not available in the latest fix?
Thanks in advance,
Robert
