This Week in Bamboo (August 26th, 2012 – September 1st, 2012)

Patch for Community Central SharePoint 2010 release 1.1 with new features and some resolved bugs was released to the storefront this week along with Calendar Plus, Team Calendar, List Rollup Web Part and Lookup Selector Column.  Please check out the latest releases of this week and see below for more information on all the bug fixes, great new features and new known issues.

SA15 Community Central for SharePoint 2010 Release 1.1.91

New:

• Includes new site templates for Arabic, German and Russia.
• Option to Automatically subscribe authors to email alerts on their forum topics.
• Inserting and playing videos in the forum topics and forum posts using the following methods:

◦ Embedding a video from shared video site such as YouTube or Bamboo Video Library into a post using IFrame embed code.
◦ Uploading a video (using Bamboo Video Library, which is sold separately)
◦ Linking to a video (using Bamboo Video Library, which is sold separately)
◦ Selecting a video from Bamboo Video Library (using Bamboo Video Library, which is sold separately)

HW20 Calendar Plus for SharePoint 2007 Release 4.1.109

Bug fixes:
 
• When configuring color coding or icon coding for a People and Group column, unable to move the cursor to the end of the people picker control.
 
No new Known Issues and Limitations.

HW34 Team Calendar for SharePoint 2010 Release 1.7.17

Bug fixes:

• When using any function of Web Part displays the message “Could not load file or assembly ‘Telerik.Web.UI, Version=2010.1.415.35, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=121fae78165ba3d4’ or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.” Now Web Part is updated to Telerik 2011.2.915.35. “

No new Limitations and Known Issues.

HW24 List Rollup for SharePoint 2010 Release 6.0.49

Bug fixes:

• The item link produced List Rollup Web Part for InfoPath forms is incorrect.
• In certain cases, customers receive an error when migrating List Rollup Data View to List Rollup Schemas. “btnMigrateDataview_Click:: Unable to cast object of type ‘Bamboo.WebParts.ListRotator’ to type ‘Microsoft.SharePoint.WebPartPages.WebPart’.”
• Export to Excel exports the entire data set, not the subset based on applied filters.
• When there are 2 List Rollup Grid View Web Parts reside on the same page, selecting Edit Item from the item’s context menu of one Grid View Web Part opens the edit form from the other Grid View Web Part instead. 

New Known Issues:

• In Filter section – Unable to filter data set based on columns of type Calculated, formatted as Date and Time.

HW41AB Lookup Selector Column for SharePoint 2007 Release 2.3.60

Bug fixes:

• When modifying the source list URL of an existing Bamboo Lookup Selector column, the Select List drop-down menu fails to populate.

No new Limitations and Known Issues.
