This Week in Bamboo (August 10th, 2014 – August 16th, 2014)

For this week at Bamboo, we released the patches for the following products: List Rotator Web Part, Data-Viewer Web Part, Cross List Web Part, Alerts Administrator, and Password Change Web Part.  More details about the patches can be found below.

HW21 List Rotator Web Part for SharePoint 2010 Release 2.5.87

Bug Fixes:

  • List view options are not displayed under the Select View drop-down menu when configuring the web part in a Unified Access Gateway (UAG) environment.

New Known Issues:

  • Random and Slideshow transition effects do not function in a page published using Unified Access Gateway (UAG).

New Limitations:

  • None

HW37 Data-Viewer Web Part for SharePoint 2013 Release 3.6.103.2013

Bug Fixes:

  • Conditional formatting of Lookup column types is only supported when Lookup is to a Single Line of Text column, and when using the “Equal To” operator.
  • Some customizations to PM Central can result in the Data Viewer Web Part incorrectly formatting List Rollup content, resulting in a CTX error on the Portfolio site’s Project Summary display.

    New Known Issues:
  • None

New Limitations:

  • List Rollup mode has not been supported for filtering with Managed Metadata multi-data type except filtering data using the “Contains” operator on Managed Metadata single data type column.

HW09 Cross List Web Part for SharePoint 2010 Release 1.5.29

Bug Fixes:

  • An error message may appear at the top of pages when adding the Web Part to a UAG environment.

New Known Issues:

  • Some UI elements in the Web Part settings pane may be misaligned for certain types of sites when using IE 11.
  • Cannot configure Web Part settings when adding to a site with a name that contains some special characters.

New Limitations:

  • None

HW39 Alerts Administrator for SharePoint 2010 Release 1.4.57 

Bug Fixes:

  • Hidden lists are incorrectly displayed as potential targets when creating a new alert.
  • Non-library lists are incorrectly displayed in the Document Library category when creating a new alert.
  • Alerts Administrator displays the error “Value does not fall within the expected range” when used on a host-named site collection.

New Known Issues:

  • Grid View does not support filtering User columns with the following special characters: ” LIKE “, ” AND “, ” OR “, ” | “,  “””, “>”, “<“, “<>”, ” NULL “, ” IS ” and ”;”

New Limitations:

  • None

HW06 Password Change Web Part for SharePoint 2013 Release 4.1.69.2013

Bug Fixes:

  • Web Part does not work when the Request Management service is running.

No New Known Issues or New Limitations.
