I'm not sure how many references I can get away with from being a mile high yesterday, or a mile deep in SharePoint, or standing in lines a mile long. But I am sure that what's most important is that it was a fabulous day in Denver where Bamboo exhibited and presented at SharePoint Fest, hosted by AmeriTeach. Over 400 attendees gathered at the Denver Convention Center to get their fill of Microsoft SharePoint knowledge.
I spent some time with one of our local partners, RBA Consulting, where Craig Andrie, Scott Held and Shawn Craig (pictured at right) sported the RBA football "team" theme to go along with the Denver Bronco football tickets they were giving away to a lucky winner at the conclusion of the event. RBA continues to impress me with their knowledgeable team, high energy, and passion for the SharePoint platform. If you are local to Denver (or Dallas, or Minneapolis, for that matter) and need some consulting and/or integration support, I strongly suggest that you give them a call.
I also spent some time with a friend of years past who is now part of the leadership team at Aspenware, a custom software development and services team based locally in Greenwood Village, CO. The team was showcasing their BLABr social networking technology. Stay tuned for a guest blog post from Josh Swihart on the development and direction of this exciting technology for SharePoint 2010. Pictured below are Aspenware's Cliff Love and Michael Vaughn.
As he did last week at SharePoint Intelligence in Anaheim, Nando Carbonel presented a session on Business Process Made Simple. Over 100 attendees chose to attend our session and learn about building workflows with SharePoint out-of-the-box, SharePoint Designer, Visio, and Bamboo Workflow Conductor. For more information on Bamboo Workflow Conductor, or to attend a weekly webinar, please take a look at our Workflow Conductor product page.
Thank you to the team at AmeriTeach for bringing this event to the Denver area. I was told we should look forward to more events of this type, as AmeriTeach plans to take this training/event series on the road.
