New Exchange Online Calendar Integration for Calendar Plus by Bamboo for SharePoint Online
Bamboo Solutions has some exciting news to share about our flagship product, Calendar Plus by Bamboo for SharePoint Online. The Calendar Plus product now features integration with Exchange Online Calendars!
Previously our Calendar Plus product excelled at integrating calendars from SharePoint Lists and SharePoint Event calendars into a single location. Now our Calendar Plus product can compile calendars from SharePoint Lists, SharePoint Event Calendars, and Microsoft Exchange Online Calendars all into one place!
Just as the Calendar Plus WebPart uses the SharePoint Lists’ and SharePoint Event Calendars’ existing SharePoint permissions to control who can see the events on Calendar Plus, Calendar Plus leverages the existing Microsoft Exchange permissions granted through the exchange sharing features. It is important to note that in order for a user to see any secondary calendar on Calendar Plus the default calendar from the origin
Once the tenant admin logs on to the site admin center and approves the Graph API requests required to run the exchange portion of the product, Calendar Plus can be used to look up the exchange calendars of any user that the accessing account has been given access to. Bamboo Solutions has additional supporting documentation of the step-by-step instructions to approve Graph API requests, but the process is straightforward.
