Editor’s note:  There have been several new additions to the Bamboo team since our last “New Faces” series, so it’s time once again to introduce the new folks to Bamboo Nation.  First up is Veronica Korzh, EMEA Sales Team Leader…

When did you join the Bamboo Solutions team, and what is your role?

I joined Bamboo Solutions on November 18, 2013, and my role is European Sales Team Leader.

What are your personal goals regarding your position for the next year?

The EMEA team has several high and proactive goals including promoting Bamboo Solutions in the EMEA sales market for 2014. My personal goal is to work closely with my teammates to build a highly professional and successful European office and drive regional sales.

What’s your professional background?

I used to work as an Account Manager for one of the biggest IT consulting companies in Ukraine. The company and the team were really great and they taught me a lot.

What prompted you to join the Bamboo team?

I have a lot of ambition and always wanted to seek out a position in business development since all my friends say that sales and relationship-building are some of my personal strengths. As to why Bamboo; I like and believe in Bamboo Solutions’ products, and now was interested in how I could help further the company’s mission.

What were some of your first impressions of working at Bamboo? 

I was very impressed with the large range of products and the diverse geographic reach of our company. I like that Bamboo Solutions is very professional and has a strong corporate philosophy that focuses on customer needs and being a strong and reliable business partner.

With over 70 products to learn, do you feel overwhelmed? What’s your strategy for getting up to speed?

I don’t feel as overwhelmed as I feel very excited. I am very eager to dive into the sales ocean and absorb as much knowledge as I can.

Other than your deep and abiding love of extending SharePoint, what interests or hobbies do you enjoy outside of work?

I am a huge sports enthusiast and love spending time both as a spectator and a participant. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
