New Faces of Bamboo: Introducing Marie Baba

Longtime readers may recall our “New Faces” series, in which we would introduce the new faces of Bamboo Nation. Here’s our latest crop of new hires that we are excited to acquaint you with! Without further ado let us introduce Marie Baba!

When did you join the Bamboo Solutions team, and what is your role?

I joined the Bamboo Solutions team on July 7, 2014, as an Assistant Team Lead, Support.

What are your personal goals regarding your position for the next year? 

My goal as an Assistant Team Lead, Support is to go above and beyond in my duties and responsibilities so I can provide the greatest support to our customers.

What’s your professional background?

I worked at an IT helpdesk for about four years so I have great experience in providing excellent customer support and troubleshooting assistance.

What prompted you to join the Bamboo team?

I was prompted to join the Bamboo team because I have always been interested in SharePoint and wanted to expand my knowledge and gain more experience.

What were some of your first impressions of working at Bamboo? 

My first impression of working at Bamboo was excellent. I love the atmosphere and my colleagues are great. I also respect the relationship we have with all of our customers.

With over 70 products to learn, do you feel overwhelmed?  What’s your strategy for getting up to speed?

I am great at learning new things. My strategy has always been to take notes and listen to all the information I am provided.

Other than your deep and abiding love of extending SharePoint, what interests or hobbies do you enjoy outside of work?

I love reading, writing, and spending time with my friends, family, and English Bulldog, McLovin.
