As you know, the List
Search Advanced Web Part is very
powerful and capable of searching lists including documents, calendars, tasks,
issue tracker, and announcements. List Search
Advanced displays search results in
a SharePoint list view, making it familiar to most end users. And, the latest
version provides you the flexibility to easily filter the header. This blog post
will provide you detailed steps to use this feature.
Install the Web Part and add it to your page. Under Select
data source, select SharePoint List,
Bamboo List Rollup Web Part – Classic Edition, or Bamboo List Rollup Web Part. For example: ‘SharePoint List’ option
and ‘Calendar’ is selected to search). Remember to select the checkbox to enable filtering from column headers,
then click Apply, and OK.
You can select one column to search. For example, Field Name: All Day Event, Comparison: Not Null and display search
result using this view: ‘All Events’, then click Find:
The search result will display the item. Click on the
header’s Title column to display all
items on filtering form.
