Greetings from the Bamboo booth in Charm City, also know as Baltimore, Maryland. We are here attending SharePoint Conference .ORG, a two-day show right here on the Inner Harbor. Besides the nice views and crab we had for lunch, we’ve also enjoyed meeting both existing and new customers, mostly here from the East Coast. I’ve chatted with a few folks from IT departments at companies such as Merck that are here looking for products that they can give their users without having to do custom coding. When people take a glance at our product catalog with over 60 products handling everything from password management to project management, they are very happy to realize that we may have solved their build vs. buy dilemma. I’ve also met with customers who are currently still using WSS 3.0 and debating about whether to make the leap to 2010 as well as people who are currently migrating. Of course we’re happy to tell everyone that all of our products are now ported over to 2010 and available for instant evaluation in our Sandbox.
Coming up later this afternoon our own Rob Manfredi and Julie Auletta will be presenting a session on “Accelerating Application Development on SharePoint with Web Parts and Solution Accelerators“, so stay tuned for coverage on that later today!
