It was a hectic morning here at SharePoint Fest in Chicago with lots of foot traffic, especially for a one-man show here at the Bamboo booth, but I’m managing. Visitors to our booth so far have included Honeywell, McDonald’s, and Fermilab, to name just a few. Of course, I’ve also had some visits from existing customers, all bringing positive reviews, and only wishing that their budgets would permit buying more of Bamboo Solutions’ products. The total head count for today’s conference is up around the 300 mark. I’ve officially run out of t-shirts… all that’s left are Bamboo pens.
Our booth is next to Rightpoint‘s, who are SharePoint consultants local to Chicago. I’m mentioning Rightpoint in this blog post because we worked closely with them in selling PM Central to a major manufacturer a few months ago. It’s been nice to put faces with names, and they seem like a fun bunch. I hope to collaborate with them in the near future on additional PM Central opportunities.
I’ve run into some familiar faces here in Chicago, and am working on building more relationships with customers and consultants. All in all, I’d have to say it’s been a good experience so far. We’ll see what happens here after lunch, more to come!
