We had a great time in Tysons Corner, Virginia with our fellow co-sponsors for the yearly Cinco de Mayo GovCon event. Over 130 people attended this outdoor party at American Prime complete with a mariachi band. The Capital Group, GOVTECH, EDGE Commercial Real Estate, Pinnacle Partners, GovConPay, and Kipps Desanto were also sponsors.

Meeting so many CEOs of various companies in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area reinforced that despite world events, we collectively have hope and see progress being made in returning to normal. Business is increasing, hiring is happening, and getting back to work were the topics of the day.

One special guest that I got to catch up with at Cinco de Mayo GovCon was former President and CFO of Bamboo Solutions, Mike Schwien. It was a pleasure updating him on the progress we have made since 2016 and our strategy around SharePoint Online. He was quite impressed with all we have accomplished at Bamboo.
