New offices in Gothenburg, Sweden, and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam will help provide considerable support to Bamboo’s growing international client base.
Gothenburg, the second-largest city in Sweden and home to world-renowned IT and manufacturing headquarters, will serve as the hub of European operations. Mr. Martin Gustafson will assume the dual roles of General Manager, European Region, and will also serve as Business Development Manager for company-wide operations. Prior to joining Bamboo, Mr. Gustafson served as CEO for a Swedish consultancy company delivering information management solutions for the manufacturing industry. He has had several leading roles in information management companies, as CEO, and as Marketing Director. Mr. Gustafson’s association with Bamboo began as a customer, where he and Bamboo worked together to employ some information technology solutions.
The Asia Pacific office, located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, takes advantage of a highly educated workforce and serves as the hub for customers in Asia-Pacific time zones. Vietnam, one of the fastest-growing economies in Southeast Asia with a population of over 80 million, is poised to be a dominant player in the IT market. The 40-person office is headed by Mr. Anh Q. Le, one of several hundred thousand Vietnamese who emigrated to the United States in the 1970s. Returning to his homeland after many years, Mr. Anh has held positions in business development and marketing for several large international corporations, including Intel Corporation. Combining his western education and experience with his eastern customs and diligence, Mr. Anh is a cornerstone in Bamboo’s mission to deliver business-oriented results that will exceed the expectations of our international customers.
