The third day of SHARE, Wednesday, April 25, will officially begin with Bamboo’s breakfast and coffee talk, From Simple Search to Knowledge Management: Getting the Answers You Need from SharePoint. Julie Auletta, Director of Bamboo’s Solutions Center, will be enlivening your breakfast with her presentation on how to best use SharePoint for knowledge management. Julie will be taking questions during her talk, and will also be available during SHARE for Bamboo product demos. To schedule a private demo with Julie, please stop the Bamboo kiosk in the Exhibit Hall beginning at the welcome reception taking place Monday evening.
Following Julie’s talk, Dux Raymond Sy will provide opening remarks, which will once again be followed a pair of keynote presentations. The first of them will be Success with SharePoint: Earning the Right to Seek Executive Support, presented Michael Sampson, and the second will be presented The Associated Press’ Chad Schorr: Beyond Sharing: Reimagining the Digital Newsroom with SharePoint.
Again, as with my Tuesday schedule, I won’t be able to cover a session in every timeslot, but if I were magically able to do so, here are the selections I’d likely make (though they certainly don’t make it easy to choose):
- Case Study: How Del Monte Foods has kept things fresh within SharePoint – Scott Smith, Architect Analyst, Del Monte Foods
- The Connection Between Metadata, Social Tools, and Personal Productivity – Christian Buckley, Director of Product Evangelism & SharePoint MVP, Axceler
- Social Computing in Practice at Abbott International: Communities that Drive Innovation and Ideation – Tom Pryzgoda, Senior Director Global Strategic Marketing Operations, Abbott
- Social Computing Inside and Outside the Four Walls – Jeff Willinger, Director of Social Computing, Intranets and Portals, Rightpoint
After the sessions wrap up for the day, Wednesday afternoon’s presentations will conclude with Sarah Haase, Best Buy’s Collaboration & Search Engineer, delivering the final keynote of the conference: It Doesn’t Take a Miracle: Driving Successful User Adoption. Sarah’s keynote will, in turn, be followed a SharePint from 5-6:30 p.m., which will bring the conference proper to a convivial close.
But wait, there’s more to your mission, should you choose to accept. There are also three full-day deep-dive workshops that are on offer for Thursday. Alas, my own flight home departs Wednesday night, but for those who opt to extend their SHARE Conference experience and take advantage of the Thursday offerings (available at an additional cost), your choices include: Dux Raymond Sy’s How to Effectively Plan, Manage, and Control SharePoint, Michael Sampson’s Strategies for User Adoption, and Antony Clay’s SharePoint Innovation Games Workshop for Requirements.
As the Platinum Sponsor of the event, Bamboo is very much looking forward to SHARE, and to our time in Atlanta the week after next, and we hope to see you there!
Reminder: Today is the last day to enter for a chance to win a pass for SHARE: The SharePoint Conference for Business Users.
