Bamboo Product Suites Fully Support SharePoint 2010

Prior to to last year’s historic launch of SharePoint 2010, Bamboo announced its plans to support the new platform.  A good amount of time has passed since then and we have all had time to digest much of the new information about SharePoint 2010. Accordingly, it is time to update you on Bamboo’s product status. We have now finished our efforts to port our entire set of Suite products to SharePoint 2010.  We now offer versions of our all of our Suite products for both SharePoint 2007 and the new SharePoint 2010 platforms.  If you haven’t yet moved to SharePoint 2010, have no worries.  Bamboo will allow you to purchase a license now for SharePoint 2007 and then trade that license in for a SharePoint 2010 version later.

Our entire family of Suite products are now supported on SharePoint 2010.  This includes the Bamboo Product Management Suite, Bamboo Administration Suite, Bamboo Essentials, and the Bamboo Ultimate Suite.  We are often asked whether our products are still relevant for SharePoint 2010. Absolutely!  While we have had to retire a few of our products, all of the products in our current product line continue to add value beyond what SharePoint provides out-of-the-box and we plan to continue to enhance this value through product enhancements and new products releases in 2011.  We’ve also posted a number of feature comparison charts on individual product pages and via Bamboo Nation that compare our products to SharePoint 2010.  Bamboo Suites have become a critical part of the SharePoint stack in organizations throughout the world.  You can see exactly how they can benefit your SharePoint deployment signing-up for a free webinar, watching an online screencast, or contacting one of us here at Bamboo.
