Now you can manage your projects from anywhere. With the introduction of PM Central Mobile, Bamboo brings project management to users’ pockets, allowing them to access their project tasks and issues while on the go.
PM Central Mobile consists of two components: a server-side installation that enables the mobile functionality, and a mobile app that can be downloaded from the Apple App Store. With both of these components installed, users can see a list of all of the tasks assigned to them, along with filtered views of tasks that are overdue, or of tasks that are due within the next week. They can also see and edit Issues that are assigned to them. Project Tasks and Issues can be searched, sorted, and filtered, to help quickly get them to the items they need. Tasks are even color-coded to let users identify tasks that are overdue or due soon, all at a glance. A simple tap-and-swipe interface provides a natural, intuitive interface that works perfectly on a mobile device. Currently available for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch, PM Central Mobile gives users a rollup of the data they need the most and lets them update key items directly from their phones and tablets. A simple and intuitive UI gives users quick access to view and update the Tasks and Issues that have been assigned to them in Bamboo Project Management Central. |
| Getting started with PM Central Mobile is simple.
1. Download the server components from Bamboo and install them on your SharePoint 2010 server(s) where Project Management Central 4.0 is already installed and configured. 2. Download the PM Central Mobile app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch running iOS 6.0 or later from the Apple App Store here, or simply search for “PM Central” on the App Store from your device. 3. Launch and login into the PM Central Mobile app from your mobile device and start managing your projects from anywhere. |
