What’s Coming in Q4 2025
New Web Parts: My Alert by Bamboo and My Alert Manager by Bamboo
Two new web parts are in development and scheduled for release before the end of the year:
- My Alert by Bamboo – Designed for end users, this web part makes it easy to set up and manage personal alerts directly from a SharePoint list or library. (Figure 1.)
- My Alert Manager by Bamboo – Gives end users visibility into all of their alerts, with simple edit and delete options for easy management.
Together, these interfaces provide a user-friendly experience that goes beyond what the classic SharePoint Alerts ever offered.

Item Level Alerts
We’re extending Alert Plus functionality with support for Item Level Alerts, enabling more granular notifications tied to individual list items or documents. This has been one of the most requested features, and it’s coming this quarter.
Bamboo Tenant Manager Integration
For customers using the Bamboo-hosted Azure backend, we’re moving secret management into Bamboo Tenant Manager. This provides a more secure, streamlined experience and reduces the administrative burden for IT teams.
Migration of SharePoint Alerts
We understand that many organizations still have hundreds or even thousands of existing SharePoint Alerts in use. That’s why our team has developed tools and services to migrate your current SharePoint Alerts into Alert Plus by Bamboo, ensuring a seamless transition before Microsoft shuts down this feature.
What’s Coming in Q1 2026
We’re continuing to expand the capabilities of Alert Plus into a truly comprehensive alerting solution. In Q1, we’re adding:
- Daily Summary Alerts – Receive a single daily digest of all relevant changes across lists and libraries.
- Weekly Summary Alerts – Get a convenient weekly rollup of important updates, perfect for managers and project leads.
With these enhancements, Alert Plus will fully cover the scenarios previously handled by SharePoint Alerts—plus add new features that make managing alerts easier and more powerful than ever.
