As you know, the List Search Advanced Web Part is very powerful and capable of searching lists including documents, calendars, tasks, issue trackers, and announcements. List Search Advanced displays search results in a SharePoint list view, making it familiar to most end users. And, the latest version provides you the flexibility to easily filter the header. This blog post will provide you with detailed steps to use this feature.
Install the Web Part and add it to your page. Under Select data source, select SharePoint List, Bamboo List Rollup Web Part – Classic Edition, or Bamboo List Rollup Web Part. For example: the ‘SharePoint List’ option and ‘Calendar’ is selected to search). Remember to select the checkbox to enable filtering from column headers, then click Apply, and OK.
