We recently released Workflow Conductor 1.5 for 2007, which added a slew of great new features. I’m happy to announce that all of those new features are now available in for SharePoint 2010 Foundation and Server, including cross-site collection actions, the ability to run widgets under alternate credentials, and a whole lot more. We’ve also included some bug fixes in the 2010 version that we will be rolling back to the 2007 version in the next couple of weeks. Don’t think that means we are even close to done adding features. We have a lot of plans for both versions starting early in 2011, so stay tuned.
If you are currently using SharePoint 2007, but are planning to upgrade to 2010, you can rest easy knowing that Bamboo protects your investment. If you buy Workflow Conductor for 2007 now, you can upgrade to the 2010 version for free when you are ready. That means you can start saving time and money now automating your processes in 2007, and carry those savings over when you move to 2010.
If you haven’t seen Workflow Conductor in action yet, here’s a quick video overview. The video was shot in a SharePoint 2007 environment, but all of the same features are available in the 2010 release:
