This week in Bamboo, we launched a major new product: List Consolidator for Users (HW72 Release 1.0), which is available for both SharePoint 2007 and SharePoint 2010 environments. We also have some major and patch releases this week for both SharePoint 2007 and SharePoint 2010. The most important major release is SharePoint Knowledge Base Accelerator. The new release 1.5 of SharePoint Knowledge Base Accelerator is now available for SharePoint 2010. See our Product Manager Blog for more details. The following Release Notes are the same for both SharePoint 2007 and SharePoint 2010 of HW72 List Consolidator Release 1.0:
Limitations:
• Run time filter will not work with Date time column – It works with date only column.
• Calendar List: Start Time/EndTime: Cannot filter for Date or Date and Time column if items are an All Day Event.
• Sorting for number column grouping is not working. It works as string sorting.
• Unable to change text on the grid control. 3rd party control limitation.
• All columns in consolidated lists should have same data type. If there is miss match in data type, the data will not be shown in the grid view.
• If site URL is changed after the web part is configured and saved, users need to reconfigure the web part again or it will show data incorrectly.
• If either Lookup Column or User column is deleted from the list, users need to reconfigure the web part again or it will not show data on the grid after the deletion.
No support for Sorting/Filtering/Grouping of:
• Site Name
• List Name
• Multi User Column
• Multi Lookup Column
• Hyperlink column
• Calculated column
No Support for:
• Bamboo Column Level Security.
• Bamboo Video Library.
