This week in Bamboo, we celebrated the first week of the New Year rolling out two major releases, Password Change Web Part Release 4.0 and User Account Setup Web Part Release 4.0, along with the following patches: Virtual Map View Web Part, Data-Viewer Web Part, Chart Plus Web Part, List Bulk Import, Cross List Web Part, List Rollup Web Part, and Alerts Administrator. HW06 Password Change Web Part for SharePoint 2007 and SharePoint 2010 Release 4.0
New Features:
- The Web Part now includes a Password Strength Meter.
- Administrators can now hide the Password Expiration text.
- The Web Part Settings Window now includes a Rich Text editing area to customize the Password Policy text.
- Users can now define a custom layout and CSS style sheet for individual instances of the Web Part.
- The following options have been added to the Web Part Settings window:
- Display Domain Field
- Lock Domain Field
- Display Account Field
- Lock Account Field
- The Web Part now includes the option to record all password change requests.
- Password Change now uses the Web Part Settings pop-up interface.
- Password Change now uses Web License Manager Version 2.0.10.0.
Bug Fixes:
- There is no option to hide the Password Expiration text.

HW07 User Account Setup Web Part for SharePoint 2007 and SharePoint 2010 Release 4.0
New Features:
- Improved Web Part configuration through pop-up configuration screen in the Web Part Tool Pane.
- Ability to enter a general message to be displayed in the Web Part from the Web Part configuration screen.
- Ability to define what attributes are collected when accounts are created for new Active Directory Service accounts, including:
- Display Name for the attribute.
- Default value, including auto-fill from other data collected.
- Associated Active Directory Services attributes.
- Field Type to standardize the data collected.
- Description text for the data collected.
- If the field is required and/or editable.
- Copy the data to SharePoint profiles (WSS 3.0 or Foundation 2010 only)
- Define the order of the attributes.
- Specify 1 or more individual Organizational Units the user can be associated to (ADS only).
- Specify 1 or more Security Groups user can be associated to (ADS only).
- Specify 1 or more SharePoint Groups/Permission Levels user can be associated to.
- Optionally intercept new account creation requests to be approved one of the selected approval users.
- Optionally store all Web Part transactions in a custom SharePoint list.
- User account setup now uses Web License Manager Version 2.0.10.0
Bug Fixes:
- Web Part allows requestors to create multiple accounts with the same email address.

- No markers are displayed for the SharePoint Country column. If a text column is used instead, the markers are shown.

- The Web Part shows the incorrect time.
- Added support for Project Management Central (SA12) and Workflow Conductor (SA08).

- The Web Part now includes an option to hide chart elements with a value of zero in the Web Part Settings window.

HW18 List Bulk Import for SharePoint 2007 and SharePoint 2010 (2.1.54)
Bug Fixes:
- List Bulk Import does not import data exclusively from the selected view, instead importing data from the All Items view.
- List Bulk Import cannot import data from an Excel sheet to the Person and Group column.
- The Managed Metadata column does not appear in the Columns to be Mapped list when the Allow multiple values option is enabled.
- Files imported to a Record Library using List Bulk Import are checked out automatically to the user performing the import.

- Schema Rollups display incorrect file names for files that belong to a document list whose name contains apostrophes.
- The Text Filter Web Part cannot search the data from views created List Rollup Classic.

Bug Fixes:
- Schema Rollups display incorrect file names for files that belong to a document list whose name contains apostrophes.
- The Text Filter Web Part cannot search the data from views created List Rollup Classic.
- Clicking a link to a Document Library item in the List Rollup Grid View Web Part always opens the associated client application, even if the document type is configured to be viewed in the browser.
Known Issues:
- When creating a Data View using List Rollup Classic, no data is displayed and users receive the following error message: Unable to display this Web Part. To troubleshoot the problem, open this Web page in a Microsoft SharePoint Foundation-compatible HTML editor such as Microsoft SharePoint Designer. If the problem persists, contact your Web server administrator.

HW39 Alert Administrator for SharePoint 2007 (1.4.32) and SharePoint 2010 (1.4.50)
Bug Fixes:
- The User field in the Grid view displays no when filtering or grouping.
- The dialog box that is displayed after clicking the Delete button for an alert displays an incorrect message.
- Alerts Administrator takes a long time loading and paging alerts.

- New version of PB01 Release 2.0 has been released to the storefront. Release 2.0 Pack updated with Password Change Web Part, User Account Setup Web Part, Password Expiration Web Part and Password Reset Web Part. Please note the name of the pack is now changed from PB01 Bamboo IT Productivity to PB01 SharePoint Password Management Toolkit.
