At the same time, we were fixing bugs and rolling out patches for the following products: Alert Plus, Cross-Site Display Web Part and Navigators. HW37 Data-Viewer Release 3.5 for SharePoint 2010
New Features:
• Expanded control over the columns displayed in Standard and Datasheet views.
• Improved selection of columns to be displayed and the order of the columns.
• Ability to specify default columns widths.
• Ability to define a column alias to be displayed instead of original column display name.
• Allow end users to resize columns dragging the column header borders left and right during their page session.
• Allow end users to add and remove columns in run-time during their page session.
• Scroll within content while freezing column header, Web Part header and Web Part footer.

Bug Fixes:
• SQL Table or View as Datasource – Exporting to Excel – Column data type is Money, empty value is returned in Excel.
• Nested data does not display correctly when a Web Part Connection is established for filtering the master list.
• Nested data returns an error if runtime filter is cleared on subsequent page results.
• List Rollup Web Part as Datasource – Grouping – Incorrect results when grouping on columns of type People and Group.
Known Issues:
• Connected to any source with Nested Data: Expanding and collapsing a Nested Data set causes an extra line to appear when using skin Web20.
• Connected to SQL Table or View with Default Group By or Dynamic Grouping: If the SQL column contains a special character, the Web Part returns an error message.
• After initially configuring the Web Part to use Asynchronous Mode, must navigate away from the page for the data to show for the first time.
Limitations:

• If the column that is being Calculated on is also used for grouping the data, the resulting Calculated value is shown as the last item in the grouping instead of bottom of Grid View.

• Choice fields that allow multiple selections do not include a “Select All” choice.
• Reordering columns with drag and drop not supported in Datasheet mode.

• Master and Nested Data sets are exported in separate Excel files.

• Dynamic Grouping only occurs on the current page in the grid and does not group the full data set.
• Loading icon does not display if using Internet Explorer 8.
