Editor’s note: You’ve probably emailed or talked to a member of
our Support staff on the phone at one point and may have been
curious about who the person on the other end is. Well, there are even
more of them now – as Bamboo has expanded, our Support and Services team
has grown as well. In this edition of our continuing “New Faces”
series, we will be spotlighting newly added members of our Support and
Services team. So without further ado, let’s get to know your new
in-house problem-solving gurus!
When did you join the Bamboo Solutions team, and what is your role?
I joined Bamboo Solutions in late August of 2013, as a Bamboo Support Engineer
What are your personal goals regarding your position for the next year?
I hope to achieve a broad knowledge of Bamboo Solutions’ vast collection of Web Parts, as well as a clear understanding of SharePoint in general.
What’s your professional background?
I came from another IT company in which I did Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT work supporting up to 100,000 employees.
What prompted you to join the Bamboo team?
I was impressed by all of the positive attitudes and organization of the staff. It’s a great specialty to work with (SharePoint), so I’m excited to get involved with it.
What were some of your first impressions of working at Bamboo?
Everyone that works here is incredibly nice and very helpful. It’s a wonderful environment filled with great and interesting people.
With over 70 products to learn, do you feel overwhelmed? What’s your strategy for getting up to speed?
Take it one step at a time, and it will all start to make sense soon enough.
Other than your deep and abiding love of extending SharePoint, what interests or hobbies do you enjoy outside of work?
I like to stay active and explore the D.C. metro area. Additionally, I play my fair share of video games and love spoiling my two pugs.
